Gyani Santa Singh Sewak (Taak), is a well- known name amongst the local Bhat Sikh Sangat of Patiala .Migrated from Lahore (Now in Pakistan) with his family , he suffered a lot on account of PARTITION. However,he was always mindfull of serving the community to ensure redressal of their grieviences. A founder member of the local Bhat Sikh Sangat Gurdwara at Twaqli Road, Patiala, he was also a dedicated member of Akali Dal Party , was jailed in the noted Punjabi Suba Morcha. Besides,SANGAT SAMACHAR, a reputed quarterly magazine of the community, was first published from Patiala. in association with Dr. H.S.Talib of Amritsar. Later, its publication was shifted to Amritsar, in the larger interest of the community.

Sardar Darshan Singh "Landa, who arrived in UK in 1965, worked very hard and became the most successful business man of our community, in Nottingham. He was equally a most respected person in the religious circle and earned great admiration while promoting Gursikh Jiwan and Gurbani.

Bhai Sahib Gyani Harnam Singh Ji, Kharar Wale, was a noted Katha Wachak, effective Raagi and Pre(acher, who spent entire life in promoting Gurbani and Naam Simran,in the minds of young generation. He served as the Head Granthi of the famous and historical Gurduwara Manji Sahib at Ambala (Haryana), for a long time and breathed his last, there. Thousands of Sikh Sangat were present at the time of his demise to express their respect for Gyanai Harnam Singh Ji,
Mewa Singh "Garhiwale" is the proud author of four books (three in Panjabi and one in the English languages),on Sikhs history and Bhat Sikh Sangat. He also takes deep interest in the community welfare activities and posses good knowledge and hold on matters relating to concerns and achievements of Bhat Sikh Community.Even at this age, he is quite active and found eager to solve any problem, as and when brought to his notice and for guidence. We pray for his good health and long life.
